A diplomamunkám a szent és profán terek kapcsolatán, a szakralitáson alapszik. Olyan templomot szerettem volna létrehozni, amely körül a nyugodt környezet biztosított, így a választásom a Péterhalmi-erdőre esett.
A koncepció megfogalmazásánál elsődleges volt, az inhomogenitás, a világi térből való kiszakadás megteremtése. Maga az épület egyszerű megfogalmazású: kívülről a sötét homlokzatával egybe olvad az erdővel, ám a belsőterek ennek kontrasztjaként világosságra törekszenek. A templomtér letisztult és emelkedett hangulatot áraszt. Az erdő képe mellett világos színek és nemes anyagok mutatkoznak meg.
The topic of my graduation project is the relationship between the shrine and unhallowed spaces. My plan was to create a church surrounded by a calm, peaceful milieu, therafore I chose the woods of Péterhalom.
The conception is about the inhomogeneity: the realization of the cut out from a secular environment. The building is smooth: from outside unites with the woods because of its dark facade, but the interiors are lightly. The nave spread clear-out and glorious atmosphere. Light colours and patrician materials dominating together with the picture of the woods.
