This publication explores abandoned industrial sites in Budapest — once vital parts of Hungary’s industrial landscape, now largely unused or temporarily repurposed after the political shift of 1988–89. Through a creative approach, it captures forgotten fragments of the past and encourages dialogue about the future of our urban heritage. The cover’s grey and copper sheet materials reference the surfaces and structural elements of these former industrial buildings. The use of three different paper types throughout the publication reflects various industrial textures, creating a strong visual and tactile connection between content and form.
